First of all, my name is Crystal Berney and I am currently a Regional Sales Director with Ameriplan. I actually started with Ameriplan in June of 2006, and have loved every minute of it. I honestly believe that I grow a little more passionate about what I do, as well as the Company itself, just a little more each day.
To get a little bit of background on me. I am a single mom of 3, my son is 8, a daughter who just turned 7 and another daughter who also recently turned 2. So as any mother knows, they do keep me busy. And that is exactly why I have decided that a wah opportunity would work best for myself and my family.
I actually started my journey into the wah world shortly after having my son, so a good 7-8 years ago. I tried many, many different things. I had no idea what to look for or what I was doing, all I knew for sure was that I wanted to be home with my baby and not have to put him in daycare. And quite honestly I fell for almost everything that someone threw my direction.
I did lose quite a bit of money in the process, and a whole lot of time, but I wouldn't consider that a complete loss or failure because I did learn a whole lot about the industry and what is out there. I consider it my little learning lesson.
And not every thing, or every company I was involved with was a "scam" type company. I'm sure it could and did work very well with many others. It just wasn't right for me. I found out that sales was not one of my strengths, or even something I liked to do at all. I didn't care for home parties or what I considered expensive products that I had to keep on hand. So I guess a products type company was out of the question.
I can't honestly say that I even knew what I was looking for when I decided to join yet another wah/network marketing/mlm type of company. All I know for sure is that I completely understand the power of the industry. And if you have not yet read Robert Kiyosaki's book "The Business School for People Who Like Helping Other People" I suggest you do so. I have already made this a bit longer than I had planned to, so I won't go in to much further now. (Maybe a great topic elsewhere in the forum?)
Well enough about me, if you should have any questions, feel free to ask away. I am here to help as best as I can.
Thanks for taking the time to read (all) of this and I look forward to getting to know everyone a little bit more.
Also, feel free to visit my blog at
http://wahfacts.blogspot.com I decided that with all of my trial & error experiences, it would be best to find a way to help others understand what to look for, what works and what may not, and really how to truly get the best out of any work at home opportunity that they ventured into.
